The TANK motorscooter has been orphaned by TANK and the dealership has gone under. Still runs though. All the parts are findable through online parts dealers and some pictures. Just replaced the rear brake system and the rear shock. Runs like new.
Getting ready for a summer of scootering. Gas prices are way up over $4/gal and the time has come to think about the scootering alternative. All of our scooter links have been revised; there are some wonderful new sources and many old ones have vanished.
With the demise of TANK, my 150 sporty is feeling like an orphan. However, there still seems to be no problem getting parts. All Chinese scooters seem to be very eclectic conflations of a common pool of parts and, with a little hunting and some pictures, it's not hard to find the right ones.

The new Yike Bike looks very peculiar with a large wheel in front and a tiny one behind. The handlebar is on either side of the driver. It is the first foldable electric bike that really folds into something small enough to carry. It costs the earth though.
